This is an inquiry to those of you living in Germany:
Where do you look for housing? We currently only have 3 places to check:
1) The Oberhessische Presse newspaper
2) The Marburg Express
3) www.studenten-wg.de
We also check the window of our local bakery, grocery store, and the board in Quo Vadis.
We looked briefly at Scout24, but basically no matter where we look it's mostly Makler (real estate agent) listings that then make it very unaffordable.
With only 3 places to check (and the low vacancy rate in Marburg) we're getting maybe one listing to call every 2-3 weeks.
Please post a comment here or email me a link to any other places we should be checking.
THANKS!

Talk to as many people as possible about your search for a new apartment- you can hear about some, which are not posted anywhere.
We keep praying for you!
PS: We sold the Buick 3 weeks ago- hooray!
Just cataching up on THE blog and spied the new layout, neat! Househunting is always something that takes patience and skillful communications. Often it is simply timing and WHO you know. Keep putting out "your feelers". Is there a realestate "season" in Germany where most movement takes place?
