Road Trip!

Tomorrow we're going on a road trip! I'm so excited to get out of town and do something a little different, even if it's just for a day! We're using one of the car-sharing cars to drive down to Ikea and then drive over to Konigstein to visit the spa/kurbad for the afternoon. Our friends, Andrew and Hillary, will be joining us, so that will add to the fun.

Ikea - no, the boys didn't lose a bet and are now getting dragged there - we have a short list of things to get before heading off to Konigstein. We're getting a set of everyday plates, which I'm super happy about. Don't ask why we didn't register for them for our wedding nearly 3 yrs ago, let's just say since we moved here last June we've been eating off the same 4 plates from Stefan's bachelor days and it's been making me crazy!

Konigstein Kurbad - we're just getting the afternoon pass to use the mineral water pools - with massage jets, bubble beds and more! I'm just at the tail end of a nasty cold and am looking forward to relaxing there a little! You can click here to read about it in German.
