Thumbs Down

The place was a no-go. Really old, needed a lot of work. Kitchen was huge and good, basement storage space also good, but that was basically it. An hour after we'd left the place we were already calling it 'the Project', I think that says it all.

We did see some friends from church afterwards - they live right across the street and are on the market for the same exact thing we are. However, they have 2 cars and can live further out of town. They told us they'd already looked at more than 20 places, all to no avail. That's pretty typical from what we hear. We also heard of somebody who used a real estate agent for 6 months and STILL found nothing! So.....we continue on.
