Before and after: we heart Stoff!

Stoff (not to be confused with 'stuff') is the German word for fabric, as in fabric you buy by the yard. It's helped us fix a number of problem areas recently as you can see below.

Kitchen shelves before; just too much for the eye to take in, looks really cluttered:
Kitchen shelves after; bring in some color to the room, hide what appears cluttered, and yes, we still need to figure out the counter clutter and trash cans - this kitchen is pretty small for all we do here! We still have a bare bulb hanging from the ceiling for light, but it functions. I hope to replace that soon too.Front hall coat closet situation before; not much going on:
Front hall closet during; much better, have a place to put hangers, but coming through the front door often feels like walking into a wardrobe:Front hall after; so happy! Red curtains make it cheery, hide all the hanging coats and shoe rack, and make it feel a little finished. Finally! Kudos to Stefan for rigging a shelf that fit against all the weird angles and cuts of the wall!Keep watching for more before and afters in the next week. We're on the last phase of 'setting up house' here, and boy are we glad to finally be getting there! This house is feeling more like a home and less like a never-ending project!

Everything looks great! The colors are fun and the space is put to good use, too. :)

Hey!! Sieht wirklich schön aus. ☺

Wie sieht es denn jetzt mit eurem Umzug aus? Bleibt ihr doch noch in der Wohnung, so dass ihr jetzt alles schöner macht?

Hi Jules, Sorry to have "stepped out" for a while. Love what you've done to the place. Sounds like fun. I will write to you some private news on your e mail. Love this site. Beth
