#32: Stefan's Birthday

Stefan turned 32 today - big cheer! I set up his presents in the living room this morning...two red chairs for the balcony, a little grill, and 2 cacti. We also had his favorite American breakfast/treat: chocolate chip pancakes. Later today we'll join Stefan's mother for dinner and a homemade apple wine-cake/torte....sounds yummy!

We had a surprise present in the kitchen.....we realized the dishwasher is broken. We think it's the water pump. bwah! The landlord is still on vacation and can't be reached, so we'll have to wait until next week or so to even reach him and then hope he has no problem fixing or replacing it (it's 15 years old...).
