There's just something relaxing about sitting around a fire pit, eating bratwurst, trying out German marshmallows (sweeter than US ones, imagine that!), and singing songs. We had a nice night yesterday evening as we celebrated Andrew's birthday and Stefan's success at school. Of course, we stayed out way too late and are ridiculously tired today, but it's fun to still have the scent of wood smoke lingering in the air.

It is very good to celebrate your successes! Especially with brats and marshmellows!! Wish I could have been there to keep the fire burning.
