Smooth

It was a smooth service. No interruptions, no difficult situations, and Stefan preached what I thought was a great sermon! He received lots of positive feedback and if you understand German you can listen to his sermon online later this week by going to this site here.

It was especially encouraging to hear an announcement given regarding to how the church will handle the issue with the anti-conference groups. Later this week there will be an evening of prayer hosted in the Elisabeth Kirche (big state church in town) and attended by the Catholic churches and by the free evangelical churches in town. Events have lead people of Christian faith in this town to feel their freedom of speech and right to gather is being seriously impeded, so they are uniting together for prayer and to support this conference. We're very impressed (in the true meaning of impressed) to hear this news and find it very encouraging.
