So we had a little reunion of sorts last week. This is Claire. She's a former classmate from France and recently came to visit. We all decided to meet up on the market and ended up spending the morning in a little cafe.
We were a small group since many other classmates have moved on, are working, are mothers, etc. So my teacher Ligia, Claire, Abdullah (from Afghanistan), myself, and Fiona with her son, Jimmy, enjoyed ourselves. Fiona is from Australia and will be moving back later this month with her husband and baby. =( Jimmy's been a joy to everybody and was a frequent visitor to class. What a munchkin!
Our teacher put her necklace on him to help with the wiggles, and he got into that jingly jangly noise, bling bling!
Good times. I'm going to miss Fiona and Jimmy when they head back to Australia! This just means we have to go visit - I've never been to Australia!
We had a nice time catching up with each other. Most of us hadn't seen each other since the end of class in June. I'd seen Fiona and Jim-bob a few times since - we hit the playground at the end of the street last week, good times! But it's fun to hear where the others were at, Claire starting university, our teacher with all sorts of things, etc.
