Hauskreis: Summer Edition

There hasn't been much to post about lately because all my effort has been in setting up the apartment and unpacking. Stefan's been busy with end-of-year parties with students: a German prom to chaperone, a cookout at a park, a play day on a high ropes course, and today a pool party.

This week we had Hauskreis at our home, so there was a big push on my part to unpack enough boxes to make room to set up a functional sitting area in the living room. It was really nice to see the group again - especially since we'd had a long break in June thanks to everybody's crazy schedules. We started reading the book of 1 John and had some good discussion. It was also a farewell for Jewell, an American exchange student who's been with us for the past year. She returns to the US to graduate from college and get married next month! We will miss her insightful comments and sense of humor!
Prayer update on Chris: He's still having breathing problems but any heart issues have been ruled out. We hope Thursday's appointment with another doctor will shed some light on the situation.

Busy, busy, busy... glad to see you get back to Hauskreis. How about a virtual tour of the new apartment? Any photos from Neurenburg?
